Urban and Tier-2 City Shoppers

The study highlights the enthusiasm of consumers in both urban and tier-2 cities for online shopping during the festive season. An overwhelming 87 percent of customers in metros and 86 percent in tier-2 cities expressed their desire to engage in online shopping during this period. This trend indicates the widespread acceptance and adoption of e-commerce in diverse regions of India.

Factors Influencing Shopping Decisions

Several factors play a pivotal role in influencing shopping decisions during the festive season. According to the study, 70 percent of customers wait for sales, while 76 percent eagerly anticipate product launches. Additionally, 75 percent of respondents are enticed by attractive bank offers and convenient EMIs (Equated Monthly Installments). These incentives provide added value to customers and contribute to their willingness to shop online.
